Stimulates the absorption and penetration of home maintenance products.

The deep cleansing facial is recommended when: there is the appearance of blackheads, whiteheads, and pimples; aggressive outbreaks of acne, especially on the chin, nose, and/or forehead; dry, rough, and dehydrated skin; loss of luminosity in the skin; and roughness.

Contraindications: When using vacuum, it is necessary to consider the contraindications for the use of this equipment: not recommended for individuals with local skin infections, thrombosis, oncological diseases, prosthetics, individuals with uncontrolled hypertension, and patients undergoing anticoagulant treatment.

Additional benefits of microdermabrasion cleansing: Microdermabrasion is often considered a non-ablative, minimally invasive rejuvenation procedure indicated for patients of any skin type with issues such as sun damage, fine lines, dull, seborrhea, thickened skin, milium cysts, keratosis pilaris, melasma, mild to moderate acne scars, and comedone removal. It can be applied to different areas of the body and, in combination with other methods, has even been used for tattoo and stretch mark removal. Microdermabrasion provides the opportunity to prepare the skin for combining other therapeutic modalities such as chemexfoliation, laser, intense pulsed light, and/or facelift, and it may be suitable for establishing a maintenance program following these techniques. It can enhance the penetration of topical substances such as antioxidants, amplifying their effects.

Contraindications for microdermabrasion: Given the potential to spread infections (impetigo, folliculitis, viral warts, herpes simplex, etc.), it is preferable to defer the procedure until they have resolved. Other contraindications may be relative or absolute and include local infections with the possibility of dissemination, pregnancy, inflammatory acne, uncontrolled diabetes mellitus, use of isotretinoin (which should be discontinued 6 to 12 weeks before the procedure), hepatitis virus infection, keloid scarring, coagulation disorders, use of oral anticoagulants, sunburn, conditions that may trigger the isomorphic phenomenon or collagenopathies.

Contraindications: The treatment should not be performed during pregnancy or lactation; it is not recommended for individuals with severe heart conditions. It is also not recommended for those with coagulation disorders. It is not advisable for people with neuromuscular problems. Furthermore, it should not be done if there are metal prosthetics in the area where the treatment will be applied. If you have a pacemaker, it is better to avoid radiofrequency. Avoid applying the treatment to areas with skin lesions or irritations. Similarly, it is not recommended for people with skin cancer. It is not advisable for individuals with sensitive skin.
